Epson C6000A with Auto Cutter
The Epson ColorWorks C6000A comes standard with an 4″ wide built-in auto cutter to create variable-length labels and enable easy job separation. Epson’s ColorWorks C6000/C6500 series also includes the Epson ColorWorks C6000P (Epson CW-C6000P), Epson ColorWorks C6500A (Epson CW-C6500A) and Epson ColorWorks C6500P (Epson CW-C6500P). The CW-C6000A and CW-C6500A include built-in auto cutters, while the CW-C6000P and CW-C6500P include built-in label peelers — making these the first color inkjet label printers to offer peel-and-present4 — ideal for fast, print-and-apply applications.
Note: the main difference between the Epson C6000 series and Epson C6500 series is that the Epson C6000 label printer series support up to 4″ wide label printing (and 8″ outside diameter rolls), whereas the Epson C6500 label printer series support up to 8″ wide label printing (and 6″ outside diameter rolls).
Gloss vs. Matte
The Epson ColorWorks C6000/C6500 Label Printer Series uses highly durable pigment-based inks with both gloss and matte versions available to best suit your specific labeling application. The Gloss Ink Edition (C31CH76A9991) version of this printer uses Gloss Black Ink capable of printing on a wider variety of substrates with various finishes such as glossy, matte, plain and more. The Matte Ink Edition (C31CH76A9981) version of this printer uses Matte Black Ink which offers darker, sharper black text and images when printed on matte, textured and plain media only. Both gloss and matte versions use the same color ink cartridges, and have been BS5609 certified5.

High-Quality Printing
Epson-engineered PrecisionCore® TFP® printhead technology delivers ultra sharp text and precise barcodes. Coupled with a 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution, this printhead technology produces varying droplet sizes that can produce smooth gradations, fine image details and a huge gamut of vibrant, accurate colors. Whether the challenge is to produce complex informational labels or high-quality color product labels, the Epson ColorWorks C6000/C6500 series is certainly up to the challenge.
ESC/Label & ZPL II Interface Languages
ZPL II capabilities allow you to experience the advantages of Epson inkjet technology without reprogramming existing systems. ESC/Label command extensions can be added to unlock the power of color. Leverage color for logos, product pictures, color-coded fields and marketing messages to improve overall brand image and business.
Remote Management Tools
Epson made the Epson ColorWorks C6000A Label Printer for large-scale enterprise environments. To support these high-volume scenarios, a wide range of remote management tools are available. These tools allow IT and support teams to remotely monitor the status of large fleets of printers, generate email alerts for items needing attention, remotely deploy firmware updates, set up complex network environments, and view or modify settings from any computer browser or Android™ or Apple® powered smartphone.
General-Purpose I/O Port
Designed for mission-critical production, Epson CW-C6000A label printer comes equipped with a general-purpose I/O (GPIO) port. This gives automation developers all the control they need to seamlessly integrate the printer into their automated workflow. The GPIO port provides all the necessary information on supply levels, status, faults and readiness. Inputs enable users to pause, clean and print.
Helpful Tip: Epson states that when using the printer for the first time, the replacement interval for the maintenance box is shorter than usual as ink charging consumes the ink. This is why Texas Label Printers recommends that customers also purchase an additional maintenance box and an additional set of ink cartridges at the time of purchase.

I’ve had nothing but positive experiences working with Texas Label Printers. From day one they’ve provided wonderful, attentive customer service and expert advice. When I first started researching label printers for my business they sent label samples printed from my top printer choices, they provided ink cost breakdowns, and they sent examples of different label materials and styles. Later, when Epson was taking ages processing my printer rebate, I contacted Texas Label Printers, explained the situation, and they jumped in and worked with the manufacturer to get the rebate process back on track (a serial number got mixed up on their end). Even now, almost a year after the purchase, they respond to inquiries very quickly. Stewart and Lindi are fantastic. They are clearly committed to providing quality service through the life of the product, and as a customer and business owner, I value that immensely. Also, the printer (Epson C6000) works great. Zero complaints.

I couldn’t ask for a better printer for my small label printing company. It performs well and gives me nice, clean labels. Would highly recommend.

If you are in the market for a label printer I highly recommend Texas Label Printers. From sales to technical support you get the very best of both worlds. I was in a time crunch to get a printer and labels for a big job and George made it happen, from sales to samples, to shipping custom labels he pulled every string possible to get everything on time.
After receiving everything, I needed some help getting everything up and running and Stewart did an excellent job thru Team Viewer showing me everything I needed to know directly on my screen which was so much more helpful than just trying to explain things.
Ken was also very helpful walking me thru an issue which was due to my mistake but thru that session I learned a lot about the actual mechanics of the printer and how to resolve any future issues.
The whole Team at Texas Label Printers are very knowledgable, professional, and just a First Class Unit. So if you are on the fence as to what printer to buy and where to buy it from, don’t hesitate give TLP a call, you will be glad you did.
I purchased the EPSON Color Works C6000Au and the quality is excellent, and the ink seems to last forever and that’s a HUGE plus!
Thank You TLP!!

We’ve been using the Colorworks 6000A for about a year in for our small business and couldn’t be happier! We love the machine, but what makes it so great is the support we get from Texas Label Printers. We aren’t techy, and being able to quickly connect with support to walk us through step by step has been amazing. We had spent endless hours trying to troubleshoot on other printers from other suppliers and lost so much production time during our busiest months. Texas Label Printers has been a lifesaver! If you’re entertaining any label printer we highly recommend purchasing from TLP!

Bought our 1st label print Epson Colorworks 6000 with greatest customer service and recommendation from both Kenneth and Alan. This two gentleman provided me with an in-depth education and work on recommendation to help me pick the best and versatile printer for a start up small business without breaking the my bank. They surely didn’t up sell me to put extra money into their bank like what other salesman do.So appreciative to their great customer service. To add value to after service they provided me with one of their best service technicians Moses to train me on the entire process of using this dynamic machine and it’s multi purpose option to make our label printing easier and off set out sourcing our label printing and save huge money and cutting this cost and give our customers the best product and pricing.

I previously owned a Primera which was an okay printer for my application. Since switching to the Epson, I’ve loved it and it’s producing the type of labels I’ve been looking for.
Lauren K –
Kenneth was very adamant about helping me solve my label issue. We both weren’t sure what the problem was at first but he was very Dedicated to figuring it out. Very polite and patient.

Sales/basic questions were answered timely, pricing is excellent. CW 6000A shipped and arrived quickly. Stewart – support mgr -helped us dial in the margins on a weird-sized label. He also had answers to all of our many questions about how to run and adjust the printer. Excellent sales and support experience.
The 6000A is a pretty amazing printer for the price. Performance and quality were as expected. Price/quality and TexasLabelPrinter’s huge selection of stock label sizes makes this solution a good print setup for businesses needing 100’s or 1000’s at a time of prime labels on-demand.

Now that we’ve had the Epson6000 for a while I would like to drop you a line on our experience.
First, your service department is excellent. When we received the printer we could not get it to load or print properly. After calling Epson and talking to their rep for an hour he told us the printer was DOA and to send it back. We next called you to send it back and you put us in tough with your service department. The tech walked us through the setup and operation of the printer. He had us download new drivers and setup and operating programs. The printer works great! Epson needs to have you train their tech guys!
We love the printer. It does a great job on our wine bottle labels. Being a small winery we didn’t want to have to order thousands of labels from a big company only to late throw out the extra ones that we couldn’t use. We only bottle 300 or less bottles at a time and printing the correct amount of quality labels keeps our cost low.
We ordered more ink and have since replaced the original ink. The turn around time on the ink delivery was fast.
Thank you for great service and great products. If we have any other issues with the printer we will call the ones who know the product, your company!

I purchased this printer a little over a month ago and have been using it with no hiccups regularly. On occasion I’ve had to call in for tech support to get some adjustments dialed in. It really nice to do business with a company with such an awesome support team Stewart did an excellent job, was patient and super helpful. I would strongly recommend this printer and company!

We purchased this printer for use that replaced printing on Avery labels and then manually cutting to size. The print quality is pretty good (although Epson could really invest in the UI to set DPI settings). Regardless of Epson in this review, Texas Label Printers has been excellent to work with. I would not hesitate to work with them again when spending this much money on equipment.
Texas Label Printers LLC –
Thank you for the positive review. Regarding the UI, the highest quality option (1200 x 1200 DPI) can only be changed in the print driver (not on the LCD display). You must select “Max Quality” in the print driver to print in 1200 x 1200 DPI. Epson will hopefully resolve or simplify this with future firmware or driver updates because the options on the LCD display settings can be somewhat confusing because the LCD display currently only shows a resolution option up to 600 DPI (whereas the driver can allow for up to 1200 DPI printing).
